After making history by winning both the FIA Formula 3 and FIA Formula 2 championships in his rookie seasons, Gabriel Bortoleto made his Formula 1 debut in the 2025 season.

Joining the Sauber Formula 1 Team as an official driver has made him a key figure for the squad, while also marking the return of a Brazilian talent to F1 grids after nearly a decade’s absence.

Gabriel is the face of a new era for the team, which transitions to the Audi Revolut F1 Team starting in 2026. The São Paulo born driver holds a multi-year contract with the team, a clear reflection of the strong harmony between the Hinwil-based outfit and Gabriel.

For both A14 Management and Fernando Alonso, who serves as a mentor, yet also competes as a rival on the track, it is a point of immense pride to watch Gabri’s spectacular performance and hard work throughout the 2025 season. He made an impressive step in adapting to top-tier driving, which Alonso has praised publicly on multiple occasions:
